Breckenridge Ski Season 2023 – 2024 opens on Friday, November 10th, 2023.
The opening day at Breckenridge Ski Resort will kick off at the base of Peak 8 with the first chair on the Colorado SuperChair. The resort is celebrating the opening day with DJs, music, and free waffles at the base of Peak 8. The chairlifts will start at 8.30 am including the Colorado SuperChair and 5-Chair on Peak 8. For the kiddos that are trying to still learn skiing, the Rips’ Ridge learning area and magic carpets will be also open!

Breckenridge ski season lasts about 7 months. It starts in early November and closes sometime in May. Each year the goal is to stay open until Memorial Day weekend, but that is weather and if Breckenridge gets a lot of warm weather then the resort will close a little sooner.

Lift Tickets for Breckenridge Ski Season 2023 – 2024
Lift Tickers for Breckenridge Ski Resort can be purchased directly from the resort. Breckenridge Ski Resort no longer offers discounts to retailers. The daily lift tickets range from $80-$150 a day depending on the time of the season. If you are planning on skiing for more than 4+ days during the Breckenridge Ski Season 2022 -2023, then choose a ski season pass. If you live in the area, you can opt in for the Summit Value Pass at a more attractive price. This pass is valid for Breckenridge and Keystone only and there are some blackout dates.
Breckenridge Ski Resort ticket offices are located at the bases of Peaks 7, 8, and 9, and at the base of the BreckConnect Gondola. You can also purchase them online and either pick them up at any of the ticket offices or have them mailed to your home.
Is Breckenridge Gondola Free?
The BreckConnect Gondola is free for all passengers, however once on the slopes, a ski pass or scenic chair lift ticket is required. The gondola will drop you off at Peak 7 and Peak 8 at the Breckenridge Ski Resort. Each cabin is fully enclosed and can fit up to 8 guests. The BreckConnect gondola is pet and stroller-friendly.
